A study of the landscape of Sydney Harbour to create a masterplan for the Balls Head Peninsula. The project incorporates the mix of the natural harsh landscape of Australia and the influence of the port industry. A series of small interventions were created around the Balls Headland. Each intervention formed part of a larger trail already defined by small manmade walking tracks. The idea was to link already existing natural and man-made features of the headland to create a holistic masterplan design sensitive to both indigenous and colonial history of the site. The design ultimately links and initiates movement within the targeted ridgeline of the site.
